Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. We Don't Store Personal Information

Eido does not collect or store any personal information. We have no way of knowing who you are. No name, email address, or any other identifying information is ever stored on our servers.

If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive only an opaque, anonymous identifier from Apple — not your name or email. Any name you enter in the app is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us.

2. What We Do Store

To operate the app, we store a small amount of anonymous, non-identifiable data:

None of this data can be linked back to you as an individual.

3. Sign in with Apple

Sign in with Apple is optional and unlocks additional features such as syncing your likes and votes. It does not give us access to your Apple account, name, or email. We only receive an anonymous identifier that Apple generates uniquely for Eido.

4. Third Parties

We use Apple's services to deliver push notifications and process subscription payments. We may also use aggregated, anonymised usage data with analytics tools to understand how the app is used in general. No personally identifiable information is ever shared with any third party.

5. Deleting Your Data

Since we store no personal information, there is no account tied to your identity. However, if you'd like us to remove all anonymous data associated with your device — including your push token, language preference, and activity — contact us at hey@eido.thinkaboutit.studio and we will delete it promptly.

6. Children's Privacy

Eido is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
